About Jenna

Hi! I’m Jenna, an English-speaking, U.S.-trained therapist who believes therapy should spark like a real conversation: sometimes funny, often surprising, and always grounded in who you really are. I’m not one to silently nod; I’ll lean in, ask the hard questions, feel with you, and laugh when it fits. My focus is relational, which means our connection matters just as much as your story, and can provide us with invaluable insights into how you show up in your “real world” relationships.

Expect sharp insight, creative exploration, and emotional attunement. I’m here to hold you accountable and hold you close, warmly, honestly, and with a nudge when needed.I draw from several counseling theories, including Gestalt, Feminist, Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Art Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of authenticity. I aim to help you explore your experiences, uncover your true self, and move toward a more aligned and meaningful life. Our work together will center on creating a space where you can identify "stuck" patterns and then experiment with new ways of showing up in the world and for yourself.

When working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma (i.e., repeated trauma over time), I often use an IFS or parts work approach. Behaviors like intense anger, procrastination, self-harm, suicidality, or substance use may seem confusing or destructive, but I see them as protective parts doing their best to shield you from further harm. Together, we’ll build trust with those parts, help them release rigid roles, and create more internal harmony— so that you can feel more grounded, resourced, and empowered in your life.

I am trained and certified in Gottman Method Level I for couples counseling. I support couples in strengthening communication, resolving conflict more effectively, and deepening trust, safety, and passion. I also work with couples navigating the complexities of cultural or racial differences, immigrant experiences, and non-monogamous relationships, including poly and ENM dynamics. My approach is affirming, curious, and focused on helping partners better understand and support each other. There are no taboos in the counseling room, and I will bravely go wherever you lead!

I draw from Gestalt, Feminist, Psychodynamic, ACT, Art Therapy, and IFS (parts work), with the goal of helping you feel more confident, connected, and centered in yourself. I specialize in complex and relational trauma, perfectionism, OCD, substance use, chronic illness, and creative blocks. I also work with couples, including poly and ENM relationships, supporting partners in rebuilding trust and navigating conflict with more clarity and care. If you’re ready to go deeper, I offer free 15-minute consultations to make sure it’s a good fit before we dive in.
