Hello and welcome. I am a Jungian analyst in training, based in Berlin, originally from Istanbul. I offer Jungian analysis with adults and depth-oriented counselling for couples and families in English and Turkish, both in person and online.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, addictive patterns, relational difficulties, or periods of transition, analysis offers a safe space to pause and reorient in relation to these experiences. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive, with close attention to the role of creative expression and meaningful connection in processes of healing and change — both within and beyond the therapy room.
I grew up in a culture shaped by movement, tension, and layered histories. Early on, I learned that life has room for more than one feeling at once — that sadness and humour, laughter and tears, can share the same space and be felt side by side. This sensibility continues to shape how I approach the analytical field.
My background is in cultural research and human geography (PhD). For many years, I researched violence, exclusion, memory, and care in urban everyday life. Over time, my own life began to ask different questions of me. Moving across cities and countries brought repeated experiences of getting lost and reorienting. Mothering sharpened my attention to priorities and what truly matters. Working in competitive environments made both my capacities and my limits more visible. Gradually, these experiences led me toward formal training in Jungian psychology.
Language is central to psychoanalytic work, yet it is not the only way we listen for what comes alive in the body–mind. As a trainee expressive arts facilitator, I sometimes invite creative forms of expression — such as drawing, gentle movement, reflective photography, or writing — when this feels supportive to the analytic process.
At its core, Jungian analysis is an open, gentle, and respectful dialogue with psychological or bodily symptoms, recurring patterns, inner conflicts, and parts of the self that are undiscovered, unloved, or disowned. The aim is to help you become more receptive to your own inner resources and to discover new ways of seeing your life story as they begin to emerge.
Perhaps it is the geographer in me, but I understand analytical work as a form of wayfinding where I accompany you as you orient and reorient through the analytical dialogue, within the safety of my attentive presence.
If this resonates, you are warmly invited to get in touch for an introductory session to see whether working together might be a good fit.
